Most bakeries post the product. This one posts the product and then thanks you for buying it, by name.
The caption read, in full: thank you to our dear regular valued customers, and thank you, Lily. Underneath that came the address, Unit 101-3 Fan Tan Alley, along Pandora Avenue, then a phone number and an email address, exactly as they appear on the door.
The photograph was a tray of ube cream cheese ensaymada, close enough that you can see the cheddar catching on the edge of the frosting. On the shelf tag, it reads: purple yam flavoured sweet dough bun topped and filled with cream cheese, plus cheddar cheese.
It drew more likes than most of the shop's product photographs, which is worth noticing. The thing people respond to here is not the styling. It is being recognised at the counter.
