Unit 101, 3 Fan Tan Alley. Along Pandora, past the chocolate shop.
Friends & Family Bake sits in Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest commercial street in Canada, tucked into Victoria's Chinatown. It opened as a small Filipino bakery and stayed small on purpose: a family recipe book turned into a full counter of pandesal, ensaymada, and ube pastries, baked fresh through the day.
Every tray that comes out gets a handwritten yellow price tag. The wall by the window is covered in sticky notes left by customers from around the world. None of it was designed to look a certain way; it just happened, the way a real neighbourhood bakery accumulates a personality over time.
"Together, we can bake this world a better place." Part of every sale goes toward the Zoe Children's Home Foundation, supporting children in the Philippines who can't afford school supplies.
